Wayne Etchells Appointed Metlon Corp. President
Cranston, RI – Wayne Etchells, has been appointed president of Cranston, RI-based Metlon Corporation, custom slitting and converting service provider, specializing in precision, narrow width slitting, authorized distributor of 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material, and metallic yarn manufacturer. The announcement was made today by former president and treasurer, Frank Venner, who now serves as CEO and chairman. Etchells has held the position of executive vice president since 2004, replacing retiring Metlon Corporation veteran of 60 years, Joseph Resch. Etchells joined the company in 1977.
